Oddventure - a big 'THANK YOU' to all the fans
Hiya!
It's been a while since I wrote one of these, but working on the demo took all my time and energy. Not gonna lie, there have been a few setbacks along th way, but we got there in the end.
So today I'd like to thank all of you.
Over 1000 people downloaded the demo from Itch.io only. Additionally Itch.io site featured the demo, so it could reach even more people.
Awesome gameplay videos are recorded for YouTube, some fans even stream their experience! There were some laughs, some frustrations (THAT DAMN DUCK!!!) and some much needed feedback.
Overall, it seems you are enjoying this little sneak peak into this weird Oddventure I'm creating. And that's amazing.
So thank you all for this. It's a big confidence boost and it makes me want to work even harder, to finish the game.
Because I'm not planning on slowing down.
First of all I'd like to hear some more comments on the demo. What did you like? What didn't you like? What would you change? All feedback is welcome. You can share your opinions on main page or Discord if you'd like.
Second of all, Kickstarter is on the way. My small team is in the process of creating some stuff for the backers, setting goals and all that jazz.
I can't exactly say when Oddventure's Kickstarter will lauch, but it's soon-ish.
Third of all, a kick-ass trailer is in the works. So stay tuned!

Wow, me encanta Oddventure, y su historia me recuerda mucho a "Over the Garden Wall", y su juego es bastante similar a Earthbound. Realmente espero que la programación no esté dando muchos problemas. ¿Sigue habiendo un Kickstarter?
Ah, solo quería comentar que "Over the Garden Wall" es muy parecida con el juego y siempre viene bien inspirarse con algo. No me malinterpretes, no os digo cómo hacer vuestro trabajo, seguramente seréis como un Chuck Norris de la programación. Pero si algún día necesitáis inspiración preguntadle a los fans, seguro que agradecerán esa acción, y a lo mejor, solo a lo mejor... Encontraréis ideas buenas para la historia.
Ojalá no estéis pasando un mal trago por lo de la pandemia.
Over the Garden wall is a marvellous show and it was an inspiration, indeed! If you tried to save the dwarf at the end of the demo Bonzo even calls Slippy "George Washington" which is Over The Garden Wall's reference. ^^ Thanks for kind words!
Also: Kickstarter just gave info that it will be avialable in my country so I'm waiting for info :)
Muy buen juego, realmente me gusto todo, el soundtrack, las mecanicas, la historia, hasta los graficos (que me recordaron a los de "Mother"), no puedo esperar a que lo terminen, le deseo muy buena suerte a todo el equipo!
